Sunday at sundown the book closes. Whatever you became over the last ten days is now the shape of your year. That part is finished.
Then the week does something you would not expect. It sends you outside, into a little hut. Let me explain the hut first, because everything this week comes from it.
The hut
Every autumn, right after the book closes, there is a week when people build a small hut in the yard. Thin walls. A roof of branches laid on loosely, enough shade to sit under, open enough to see the stars through. They hang lights in it. They bring out the good dishes. They eat there every night for seven days, and some of them sleep there. Then they take it down.
Why a hut. Because the old teaching says these seven days are the softest of the whole year, and a solid house keeps too much out. So the rule is that the roof has to have gaps. Build it solid and it does not count.
A roof you cannot see through is a lid.
So this is what the week is telling you. You just set your year. And the very next thing you are handed is a house built to last a week. Both are true at the same time. Your year is set, and the walls around you are temporary.
Full healing
Full healing is possible this week. I mean that plainly.
These seven days take you back to the womb. To the water you floated in before you were born, before anything had happened to you. Full abundance. Full connection. Full happiness. Nothing to fix, nothing to earn. Enjoy it.
The more of this week you spend inside that feeling, the more of it you carry into the whole year. That is how it works. You draw in what you already feel.
You get seven days in the water. Stay in as long as you can.
And you will get triggered. Something will happen and you will want out of the feeling. That is normal, and it is the one thing to watch for.
I remember one year I just cried. People asked me, are you happy? And I was crying. They said, you can cry in five days, wait. And I wanted to cry right now, because that was what I felt. Only now do I see how reactive my emotions were back then. They chose me. They ran me. I had no say in it.
This week you have a say. When the trigger comes, you get to pick the water.
Numbing out
After a heavy week your body wants to go flat. You will want noise, or you will want nothing. Some people go looking for the next big experience. That is the same thing in better clothes.
Fifteen minutes outside
Pick one spot outside. A porch, a step, a balcony, a chair under a tree. Sit there fifteen minutes with your phone in the house.
Say: This is my home. Right now, as it is.
Sunday, September 20, at sundown
The book closes. Stop for a moment and notice that it is happening.
Live in it anyway
You already know this one is temporary. Live in it anyway. Good dishes out.
The method is built on the lunar calendar and on years of studying Sefer Yetzirah. I do not teach the tradition. I use its calendar as an instrument, and I translate it into the language a modern woman actually lives in.
